ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT POSITIONS

When I became a freelance photographer, I also became a business owner. I am essentially my own boss which means I'm in charge of my schedule, client management, website and inquiry managment, booking client consultations, editing photos, social media managment, and much more. I love being in charge of my business, and I have learned how to be a successful account manager through my own trials and error.

In my time as the Scarlets Social Media Director, I took on many different roles. My first year, I was the only person in charge of social media, I didn't have anyone to help me out. I was responsible for account planning, content creation, content planning, graphic design, photography, and much more. In my second year as the director, my coach gave me a subcommittee to help me with my workload. Three of the underclassmen joined me on the social team. I was constantly dividing up work for our team and checking in with my teammates. I still helped out a lot and took on the majority of graphics and content planning. It was nice to have other individuals to turn to for draft approvals and creative brainstorming.

During my second term at Jacht Advertising Agency, I earned a leadership role as the Multimedia Strategist. In this role, I worked closely with the videographers, brand strategists, and social strategists to ensure we were creating content that stays within the client's guidelines. I was in charge of 10 clients throughout one semester. I was constantly checking in with my client teams to ensure we were on track with work and the production schedule.
